Oak Sovereign holds a wall the way a specimen holds a case. This stag beetle metal wall art is armored, symmetrical and still, built for people who collect things rather than arrange them.
Full description
Subjects: forest-floor sovereign, cabinet-of-curiosities specimen. Styles: naturalist graphic, hand-collected modern. Perfect Spaces: living room, dining room, entryway, home office, primary bedroom.
Cut from solid metal, the mandibles, thorax plates and spiked legs are shaped by what was removed — the wall itself becomes the open air between every limb and horn.
Raking lamplight or afternoon sun pushes a soft shadow behind each cut edge, giving real depth. A powder-coated, weather-resistant finish for covered porches, patios, sunrooms and entryways keeps the surface even and matte.
Let this piece sit above the table or console like something found, studied, and kept rather than simply hung.
